Liam says one of the major benefits of the Sobey EMBA program is the people you take it with. “Half of it is getting a crash course in different industries because of your classmates’ professional backgrounds.”

As Director of Sales and Operations for a medical distributor, Zach plans to use what he learned in the Sobey EMBA program to make himself more of an asset to the company and his colleagues.
A major highlight of Hussein’s Sobey EMBA experience was collaborating with his classmates and faculty to excel despite difficult circumstances. “You can accomplish far more as a team than you can by yourself.”
Kris looks back on his time in the Sobey EMBA program as a formative experience. “I learned from and was challenged by my classmates in a way that brought out my best efforts in a demanding and engaging environment.”
Keegan is looking forward to moving onward and upward now that he has completed his Sobey EMBA. Among the many skills he honed during the program, he says time management sticks out as one of the most essential.
Giampietro describes his classmates as “humble, capable and highly professional” and says the greatest lesson of his Sobey EMBA experience was how critical ethics are to the successful management of a company.
Elizabeth says the Sobey EMBA experience helped her work on building her character. She will be forever grateful for the adaptability of her classmates as they transitioned to a hybrid platform.
Adrian’s biggest lesson from the Sobey EMBA experience was “the importance of having evidence to guide and support the decision-making process. Going by gut feelings may work sometimes but can not be used sustainably nor replicated.”
When asked to name the highlights of her Sobey EMBA experience, Elizabeth Richards does not hesitate. “Without a doubt, the team members I had and the relationships that I formed.”
Roxanne says the Sobey EMBA experience helped her realize that community and support networks are essential to success. Now that she has completed the program, she looks forward to the next steps on her journey.
Ben says the Sobey EMBA experience has allowed him to approach problems in different ways and come up with solutions that are evidence-based. He looks forward to becoming a more effective senior leader.
