Academic
The program requires strong mathematical and data analysis skills.
- Applicants will possess an Undergraduate degree in any discipline from an accredited university. A strength in science, technology, engineering, math is preferred.
- At least a B average (3.0 GPA) or equivalent in the final 60 credit hours of the undergraduate degree.
Language Requirements
Strong English language proficiency is important for success in the program. Applicants to this program, whose first language is not English, must demonstrate their English language proficiency as outlined in the Graduate Academic Regulation 1e with the following additional requirement;
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Note: 0958 is the appropriate TOEFL code for Saint Mary's University, Minimum iBT 92, with no band below 20
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Minimum 6.5 with no individual score below 6.0
- Duolingo English Test (DET), Minimum score of 125 (no sub-score less than 105)
Application Process
Applicants are required to submit the following:
- Transcripts: We will accept uploaded unofficial transcripts for evaluation purposes. Applicants must upload a grading scale with their unofficial transcripts. Successful applicants will be required to submit official final transcripts.
- Two letters of reference. Upon completion of the referee section of your online application, your referees will be sent a secure link in order to provide a reference.
- Applicants will submit an up-to-date curriculum vitae, indicating relevant working experiences.
- A completed Supplemental Form for the MTEI program-MTEI Supplemental Form
- Complete the online application form and provide the $125 processing fee.
